Subject: Re: python-geoip IPv6 functions?
Hi Matt,
yes, sure.
I commit a first set of IPv6 glue for python right now.
Please see the new file test_v6.py and/or take a look into the
Changelog.
But you need the CVS version of the CAPI.
You have to use
http://geoip.cvs.sourceforge.net/viewvc/geoip/c/
and
http://geoip.cvs.sourceforge.net/viewvc/geoip/python/
Have a nice day!

Thank you for your work on GeoIP and its python bindings.
Now that the C library supports IPv6, and MaxMind publishes
an IPv6 database, can you add ipv6 lookup functions to the
python binding? I intend to use this in the open source
MirrorManager project (
http://fedorahosted.org/mirrormanager).
Thanks,
Matt
