Took another trip to
pbone.net. The FC15 RPM works fine. (Be nice
to have an official EL6 rpm.)
Question: I now have a panel item called "Generic Monitor". I am
not entirely certain how to use it. Seems that both "pup" and
"yumex" disappeared from EL6.

Okay. I figured out how to use it. I have it displaying my
Line Voltage from my UPS.
But, I am at a bit of a loss to figure out what commands to use
to get it to for me it I have yum updates pending. Anyone
have a favorite way to do this in EL6?
