polkit-gnome-authentication-agent-1 startup on F17 beta

Hi together, I'm having an issue here that polkit-gnome-authentication-agent-1 doesn't seem to start up correctly. For some reason this happens on just one of two machines I've updated to F17 Beta and I'm not sure why. This seems to cause some weird issues with NetworkManager/nm-applet which doesn't allow me to see/create/edit connections and PulseAudio, which doesn't allow me to actually access my sound card. xfce4-session-logout is just offering me the "Logout" option but anything else and so on. It's actually just a guess in the wild that this has something to do with polkit-gnome-authentication-agent-1 not running, because that is currently the only difference I found between those two systems until now.
