Re: Standby and suspend buttons greyed out

Hi, upower doesn't make much sense when there's systemd with enabled power management features. Does the xfce4-power-manager package depend on upower? I am asking cause there's a feature request (*) to let xfpm inhibit systemd's power functions. Not sure if xfce4-session can handle standby and hibernate via systemd without upower. You should disable power management in /etc/systemd/logind.conf to prevent systemd from taking a second standby or suspend action in some circumstances. $ grep Handle /etc/systemd/logind.conf HandlePowerKey=ignore HandleSuspendKey=ignore HandleHibernateKey=ignore HandleLidSwitch=ignore -R.
