Don't know why. It doesn't appear in the plugins list. I've attached a screenshot.

It just appeared in the list. I restarted KTorrent and it appeared. I can confirm that I was not running it when the update happened. And after installation and starting KTorrent, the plugin was not listed - even after a few restarts.
Now, after your link, I located the plugin file in Dolphin. Then I restarted KTorrent and there it is!
I'll test and let you know if it does really shutdown the computer.
