layout issues with digikam-7.0.0-0.6.beta3.fc32

I have a recently updated F32 box (dnf system update for several releases now). I use digikam, and with 7.0 beta2 everything looks as I expect (i.e similar to F31). But with beta3 the layout seems broken. Everything looks bigger than it should be, and it is not possible to shrink the left and right panes, so that with both open digikam resizes to be bigger than the monitor, and the thumbnail/preview pane is much too thin. Is this something I can fix in settings, or is it a bug? If I revert to beta2, it all seems fine again. Regards, Chris

ICE Connection rejected!

An annoying bug since upgrading to F31 has been various forms of "ICE Connection rejected!." I first saw it when I double clicked an image file in Dolphin. A pop-up told me about DCOP server not running (whatever that is, I thought). Then I noticed that similar errors occurred when opening other file types from Dolphin. And finally, I could not start ksensors any more due to the same error. This was reported a long time ago: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1768193 but remained unresolved. That was probably due to the confusion caused by the reporter's running stuff as root. But I found that the error goes away, if you unset XDG_RUNTIME_DIR. Apparently, some component involved in this error doesn't know to look in that directory for whatever it wants. Perhaps someone here can take this to a real fix. -- Garry T. Williams

Notification sound

Hi, on my Fedora 32 KDE spin I have no notification sounds. In the panel "Audio Volume Settings - Plasma" On the tab "Applications" I cannot move the notification sounds slider - it jumps back to zero.
