In a new F11 install I accidentally installed Gnome alone. I've added KDE now, but can't remember exactly what I need to do to get the KDE login manager. I thought it was in /etc/sysconfig/displaymanager, but I think I need two lines in there and I can only remember "DISPLAYMANAGER=kdm". Is that right, and what is the second line (which I assume is the login manager line)?
It is always difficult to remember. :-)
# cat /etc/sysconfig/desktop DESKTOP=KDE DISPLAYMANAGER=KDE
Or rpm -e gdm works too.
Guess it would - never thought of that! Doh!
