Firefox on plasma 5.3 stops scrolling all of a sudden. Auto-scroll does work but the mousewheel does not. Tried it on two different installations. Same results.

Just tested this in a fully updated F22 system running in a Vbox VM and I've no problems to use my mouse wheel to scroll in FF.
