what does Knoqueror all the time while move 6000 files from a folder containing 50000 files to a different folder?

these are all small files and it's a joke 5 files per second on a Core-i7-IvyBdrige with 16 GB RAM and a RAID10 as disk storage

don't get me wrong but without all the progress display and calculation that could happen within 1 or a few seconds
