I think your KDE configuration is corrupt.
That is what I have come to suspect.
If you don't mind losing all of your settings and restore everything to
default fedora, the quick fix would be to delete your .kde directory in
your home folder.
I was hoping to not do this just because I would lose all my
settings for
kmail and akregator and the like.
That's the quick fix in exchange for restoring to default...
Which account do you use more often?
The second user account was just setup to see
if the problem was a local one
or a more global one. Since it works fine in the new account it seems to be
only a local problem to the one user. I was hoping to find one or two local
files that I could delete and not the whole .kde folder. Any suggestions?
