kde-4.3.4 f11 builds finally got done today, I snarfed them into kde-testing
repo, and these will be appearing in updates-testing soon.
Well, kde-testing includes 2 newer builds:
phonon-4.3.80-2.fc11
kdebase-runtime-4.3.4-2.fc11.1
which support better/fancier phonon/pulseaudio integration. We've chosen to
leave these out of the official updates for now.

Thanks. If we don't want this integration, do we need to recompile
these packages ourselves in the future?

If you don't want pulseaudio, then just
yum remove pulseaudio
as always.
this integration is just for the case when you are using PA, it'll make the
kde/phonon experience better.

Only if you want to be able to rm libpulse…

It automatically detects that PulseAudio is not in use and will use plain
ALSA just as before. The PulseAudio integration is only enabled at runtime
if PulseAudio is actually there.

The KMix PulseAudio integration is not shippable in 4.3 nor 4.4, so no, KMix
is not being changed at this time.

Almost everything is commented out. The code is basically unusable. So you
don't have to fear for your ALSA-enabled KMix just yet. ;-)

yep, we forgot kdepimlibs in update for F11 (and oxygen-icon-theme in F12). I
hope it's OK right now (updated, repushed).
