Arthur, have you tried using the Window settings to ensure that it always uses
the same size and position? I use that and it behaves perfectly. Access it
by setting the size and position you want, right-click on the title-bar,
Advanced, Special Application Settings and set size and position to Remember.

I tried this before filling the bug, this setting is bypassed somehow
by the resizing Konversation does.
