I don't have TV on my system, and I need someone who does to help me put a little info onto http://userbase.kde.org/Kaffeine about it - what it can do, any configuration that helps, any hints and tips. If you are willing to help, either edit the page yourself, or send me the text and I'll deal with formatting, syntax etc.

I use it to watch TV and record my favorite shows. If nobody else will do, i can write something up and send it to you. But dont expect it before Sunday Evening.

That would be wonderful, Thomas. Thanks. Sunday/Monday is no problem at all.

Alright, here we go:
If you have a working dvb-t card in your systerm, kaffeine knows about it and shows a button on the start tab "Digital TV". It shows as well a new configure option on top "Television". http://img194.imageshack.us/img194/9315/kaffeine2.png http://img269.imageshack.us/img269/4409/kaffeinedvbt.png
All you have to do, after you select your source "hessen-de" in my case, is to click the "start scan" button. http://img269.imageshack.us/img269/9315/kaffeine2.png Add then the found/selected channels to the left (as in the screenshot already done and you're ready to watch TV.
Next screenshot shows the video and channel select window: http://img194.imageshack.us/img194/4266/kaffeine3.png
Recording is as simple as well: http://img682.imageshack.us/img682/6032/kaffeine4.png
There's even a program guide: http://img130.imageshack.us/img130/369/kaffeine5.png
Any further questions? Mail me :)

Just checking that you intentionally used the same image twice, kaffeine2?
Working on it now.

Yep, used the same image twice. kaffeine1 replaces the second use of kaffeine2 "start scan"
