Server SIG members: We've been asked in the ticket[1] if we want to have any new
Server-specific banners for Anaconda. We currently have one for Cockpit (which
will be reworked to match the new visual style) and I suggested another to
reference using Ansible for managing a fleet of Fedora Servers.
We could probably use some other ideas... What can you come up with?
Cockpit definitely makes sense along with Ansible and the roles we will be
developing. Should we mention galaxy in general or wait until we have a place to
point to for Fedora specific roles?
I think it's a bit premature to mention Ansible Galaxy yet. We have plans but no
implementation as of yet. Also, if we do our job properly, Ansible Galaxy may
end up an implementation detail visible only to developers rather than directly
to the consumers.
Server edition shouldn't need to mention LibreOffice or Rythmbox,
what about
mentioning the Server SIG and perhaps our mission and/or vision statements? Or
perhaps mention some of the other SIGs the way CentOS does?
Hmm, representing the Server SIG might not be a bad idea. We can suggest it.
