Since the very first version of KDE 4.0 that shipped (in Fedora at
least), I have been unable to reliably edit files with kwrite (it
complains of lack of permissions).
Luckily for me I changed web host to a company which provides SSh
access, so I have largely forgotten about this, until recently I hit
an FTP site again, and same problem.
It seems to me that KDE should be able to work with FTP and text files
I am trying to use Kopete with the Lotus Sametime plugin. When I
attempt to search for a friend, the find button is greyed out. I can
connect to contacts if I know their precise contact info (found using
Pidgin search). but not otherwise. Has anyone else seen this?
I'd like to request an enhancement to K3B, that being that it
automagically splits a data set larger than the capacity of 1 disk into
I would like to see the user have some control over where it splits it.
I'd like to see the background on the data icons in the file browser
colored different colors to reflect which disk the data goes on. And
then the user could drag the color interfaces left or right to effect
the disk boundaries. Or something like that.
Anyone want to discuss this ?
Where should I submit it ?
Linux/KDE/Fedora all ROCK !
Don't know if it's device notifier, or kernel, or what. Plugging in my

few days ago I have changed my icons theme from oxygen to Neon,
as far as I can see all the icons have changed, but the "updating system
configuration" dialog keep on working since that time (about 3-4 days) the
percent indicator is traveling back and forth along the day...
now clearly something is wrong here, question is what and if I should file a
bug and against what package?
and if I can kill it with no worries of damage?
I am on 4.4.85 and have a problem with krdc and rdp connections.
The rdp session is started outside the krdc main area as a single
"rdesktop" window. It seems as if the window id passed to rdesktop on
the commandline for embedding is wrong.
Can anyone confirm this?
