Akonadi wouldn't start for me after updating f10 from kde-redhat-unstable.
I think this was due to the change to its mysql db size. Removing it
(.local/share/akonadi/) solved that. It was re-created and has been working
fine since.
OK thanks Clive, if I get time I'll try the latest Akonadi *only* again after
shifting .local/share/akonadi/ out of the way.
