It's more likely that there's some ancient cruft in one of your config
files. In the past I've noticed that KDE in particular seems quite prone
to introducing incompatibilities across versions, and not always
updating these things correctly. It can be very hard to pin down.
Yeah, that is pretty much my conclusion as well. One of these days I'll generate a
fresh user for myself. I'm sure it will be a hassle to get things the way I like it
.... so I'll continue to procrastinate. :-) :-)
I'm still trying to figure out why when I quit a KDE session and I'm in Virtual
Desktop 4 (or any Desktop) the next session will start in Desktop 1 no matter what......
