Odd! My downgrade didn't have that problem. I'm not altogether happy with it
- Kontact seems to have problems that were not there when under 4.6.x - but
all my messages are there.

I wonder if something (google?) is just limiting the amount I can fetch via
dimap. My inbox is pretty big. OTOH, before switching kmail->kmail2->kmail, I
didn't have a problem.
