I should note that I have "KillUserProcesses=yes" in
/etc/systemd/logind.conf, so in theory this shouldn't happen. I may
file a bug against systemd if I can discover which processes are
hanging around.
For what its worth, I always seem to get pulseaudio hanging around after I log
out of my KDE session....
No idea if that's supposed to happen or not, but from reading this, probably
not...
