Try setting the output to "pulseaudio" (which should really

Ok, I will try timidity with the pulseaudio setting later (I tried it with the
default alsa setting and no sound).
Do you know how I load a sound font in timidity, or is the default
/etc/timidity.cfg all I need (it points to
/usr/share/soundfonts/somethingorother.sf2)?
Curiously, I managed to get kmidi2 working with fluidsynth and the default alsa
setting. It sounds pretty good, really.
I don't know about fluidsynth with the pulseaudio setting, however. I will try that
later, too.
If you set pulseaudio to be the default, as you said above, I hope that it will
still continue to work, as, so far, my only success is with fluidsynth and alsa,
and it sounds pretty good, as I said.
