I have had a habit of removing the quiet parameter.
Generally +1 on removing plymouth.
Wondering if there is any impact on hw OEM logo display?
Just get that at BIOS boot splash screen and then wall of text.

This seems fine for a default for Server to me, as there won't generally be
a human working at that console.
