Depends. If this is just one of the generic pcmcia issues, have a
look at

If it's something specific to this card, the bug above won't help.
Also if it's the Cisco MPI350, and not a PCMCIA 350, he'll need at least
kernel 2.6.3, and I expect he might run into this bug

FWIW, I've had the PCMCIA 350 working in both FC2 test 1 on a Tecra
8100 and IBM ThinkPad t41. The MPI350 is still a special case, it
seems. You'll need the card to be at no more than the 5.00.03 firmware
for it to work in Linux - the newer firmware isn't supported just
yet.
