In all of the excitement about the 64-bit Alpha of the Flash Plugin, I just noticed that you still need both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of nspluginwrapper installed on your F10 x64 system if you want Adobe Reader plugin to work in 64-bit Firefox.
This should probably get added to the release notes - I didn't see it in there at all.
Cheers,
Chris
Yes, I spent the whole day trying to install the adobe reader plug-in, and when I found FCP mozilla told me that the site was insecure, but I decided to go ahead and when I found Christopher's post I installed nspluginwrapper for 32 bits and know Adobe Reader plug in work in my F10 x64!
Thanks! :-o
I installed nspluginwrapper for 32 bit, but when the I the system use adobe reader plugin, the processes ldlinux.so.2 and Xorg begin to use a lot of CPU, I saw that installing LSB package for 32 bits this problem is resolved.
I don't have a lot of experience in linux, then I don't want to install a lot of packages for 32 bits, because I don't know how the system selects the libs. I mean if I have a lib for 32 and 64 bits, How can I know if the system will choose the 64 bits lib?
Can someone answer this? Thanks in advance!
