Hi all,
I've downloaded the latest version for raspberry pi from
http://scotland.proximity.on.ca/raspberrypi/test-releases/raspberrypi-fed....
When it come to the first boot screen, I found if I did any modification to the time zone
setting, there would be a warning dialog "Failed to set time and date." after
clicking the "Forward" button. So the only thing I could do to move forward is
to reboot the box and try again without any modification in the time zone settings.
I'm not sure whether it can be called a bug.
If I chose the "Graphical" option, it seems in many cases, there would
be dialog saying something like "Cannot find gnome session" (sorry, I
can remember it exactly. but it is something like that), but not on
every time. Since it acts differently at each time I tried, please
forgive me I am not able to describe it clearly. And it seems lots of
work to be done for "Graphical desktop".
Then, I switched to the Text mode with a UART console. After a certain
period time, there comes out a steady flow of oops like this:

It seems that we still have lots of work to do to make it stable. And
I'd really like to do anything that I am able to. Is there any guide
line about how to contribute? Thanks.

Hi Chen,
Thanks for the feedback. I haven't seen a couple of the issues that you
mention, but there's a version mismatch between some of the startup
packages that will be fixed in the next compose.
You're the first person to try serial console with these images, so it's
interesting to see those messages. Please update to the
raspberrypi-config-0.6 package when it gets into the repo later this
morning and let us know if that fixes the stability issues you're
seeing.
To collaborate on the Remix, I'd encourage you to join #seneca on
Freenode.
