Hi,
I don't wish to turn power management off completely but I would like to disable some
applications from having the ability to disable it.
Case in point, when I run ktorrent it disables power management such that the
monitors stay on. Or a tab in Chrome will have a video running silently. In both
cases, if I forget ktorrent is running in the background or don't notice the tab with
the video and leave I'll come back with the monitors still on.

I don't see any api for it either, other than a warning:
"Inhibitor locks should not be misused. For example taking idle blocking
locks without a very good reason might cause mobile devices to never auto-
suspend. This can be quite detrimental for the battery."

Thanks for checking. It seems some are ignoring that advice and misusing, or abusing
:-), inhibitory locks.
