Can't watch flash player output with firefox (F9-prev)
by Leslie S Satenstein
F9beta worked like a charm. I did a clean install of the f9-prev, installed the *repo for adobe flash, installed the flash (as I did for the F9 Beta) and I have no sound from the flash website. Sound works from mp3s and from ogg, so what do I need to do to have sound.

Install additional software from Install Media
by Quasar Jarosz
Hi:
I have been testing the current Fedora 9-Preview (released a few days
ago) and have run into what i thought would be a fairly trivial
problem. How do I install additional software from the install media
after installation? (this system has no internet connection).
I tried System->Administration->Software Sources, but all of the
sources listed there are internet addresses.
I looked in /etc/yum.repos.d and tried adding the media.repo file from
one of the install discs to that directory, which did make Fedora
9-Preview show up in the "Software Sources" application, but it does
not appear to actually be working.
Thanks!

Yes,
This is what I tried to say.
Thanks :) Great to hear that. At one point there was a theme for Gnome to get the KDE Look and the digital clock was one of the things that is well liked not only by me, but by many. I hope that they can bring it back (Digital clock) the new clock is OK, but the old clock is a lot nicer and we are more acustomed to it.

Antonio

+1 :)
However, there's not much we can do about it. We miss many features that we were acustomed to, but that is life. :(
Bring back the Digital Clock, the Quick Task(menu), the click on icon in the panel to launch the programs, etc. Old KDE 3.5.X series was the best. Hopefully KDE 4.X.Y series does the same later.
Regards,
Antonio

SpamAssassin charset rule problem in FC8
by Luc MAIGNAN
Hi all,
I'm not sure it's the right place for a such question, but I need experts
feedback.
I want SpamAssasin to stop all mails that contains a specific charset , in
my case koi8-r, but my rule doesn't work
header LR_CHARSET_KR8 Content-Type =~ /charset=(\"|)koi8-r(\"|)/i
describe LR_CHARSET_KR8 ...
score LR_CHARSET_KR8 100
Has someone an idea ?
