Firefox F11 GRE

Where has soundcard control gone?

I have a machine which has been running FC4 then FC6. I finally decided to go to FC11 with it, since it is an NFS and sound server for the computer lab. And I found that all the exciting sound stuff doesn't seem to have a control for sound card mode. Looking at my FC6 notes (yes, old) I say "bring up the mode menu and select between the 2 channel, four channel, and 4+center config. The 8 channel isn't better enough to justify more speakers." Only I can't find anywhere to set the card mode, which under FC6 is 4+center, and FC11 is "rear only." Where is it hidden? Startup Sound breaks up

Minor issue, but the startup sound in F11 breaks up while playing on my Compaq Evo N800w. I've applied all available updates so far... G

Intel 3100 Video and full screen video

For about two weeks now, if I full screen a video in either totem or vlc on my x64 system, it hangs. I looked through bugzilla but didn't see anything new that I could be sure was applicable. Anyone else seeing this or know about it before I file a bug? Thanks! jlc

Still no Mixer in Gnome if Xfce not installed

The title says it all. Not a problem for me as I can remember to include xfce when installing Fedora. xsane just sits there, sucking up CPU

i'm still on f11 x86_64 beta, and i invoked xsane which, in its initial dialog window, recognized my multi-function samsung laser printer, but since then, "top" shows that it's just sucking up around 100% of the CPU but not displaying any further windows. is this a known issue? i just fully updated. anything else i should be checking? thanks. rday -- ======================================================================== Robert P. Dear Seth: A timestamp of _what_? When the pkg was built? When the pkg was added to the repository? I would like it to be when it is added to the repository? Maybe two columns added: 1) Timestamp of current package 2) Timestamp of updated package Sincerely, Rob G. Healey
