Thanks! To start with I want to be able to walk into a T-Mobile Hotspot
location and log on and internet while sipping my coffee. I can't
remember if the Hotspots provide WEP security.

You normally set the WEP key to be the same as your Wireless Access
Point, AFAIK. Any random sequence would do too, though the WAP software
should have a utility for generating keys from keyphrases.
