Installing the development branch?

Hey all: What is the best way to install and run the development branch? Should I install core 1, then update all of my RPMs with a rawhide source? Is there a more elegant and direct solution? Is there a way (script?) to make the install CDs from a locally mirrored copy? This seems like it might be a FAQ, but I couldn't find the answer anywhere. I don't really want to wait until the release of test1 in February to start playing! Thanks in advance, -Charlie
