You are correct I have "yum-plugin-auto-update-debug-info-1.1.30-2.fc15.noarch"
installed.
It has been removed and yum is working again.

You probably have the yum-plugin-auto-update-debug-info package (yum
plugin) installed. That one catches me out periodically.
