Freeze/Lockup bug in paging request kernel-smp-2.6.18-1.2189.fc5

On a Dell Latitude D820, I've been running the updates-testing kernel-2.6.18-1.2189.fc5, usually without trouble. Today I launched a yum update and the download stopped in the middle of a package, and the screen stopped being updated, and after a few mouse clicks, the system locked up entirely. Video stayed on, frozen. Since this has only happened once, I don't know if it is the kind of thing to ignore or report in bugzilla. Can you advise me?
