Would this require respinning the various artwork packages, or is
this *just* the background?
It depends. We have prepared our KDE artwork to match first background version,
then colors changed so it does not look like it should. So now if we choose
darker blue one, I think there's no need to rework it (but would be nice to
again match another theme). I thought we went through this with nice artwork
schedule for F12, first background, then other artwork. I was really happy that
we have everything ready in time for alpha and now we're starting again from
point zero :( For F13 we need real process - and not only for artwork but for
everything - features, freezes... Now it's anarchy. I like freedom, it's
better than strict rules but sometimes...
Back to rain11.png - I think there are better mockups, this one is just chaos?
Too many lens effect like circles. I like bubble.png but that means rework of
KDE artwork. Still I think we should go back to first background - it was nice,
polished, nearly 100% done and lot of people asked me if I can send it or
where to get it. And it had some Fedora feeling. Even non Fedora users said -
hey it's Fedora, I recognize something similar to Fedora logo there ;-)
