I compare this to an open source program written in proprietary Java.
It's a bit more worse than that. Proprietary Java can be solved
technically. We already do that by shipping an environment that runs a
large many Java programs out of the box in Fedora. Patents cannot be
solved by hacking on it. It is a ugly political issue.
