Hi there!
I have a question about this review:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=889261
Is it ok to havearched BuildRequires?
In my opinion they should NOT be arched, because of the reasons given in
the comments of the bug.
Cheers,
Björn

Hi all,
currently we have the following command for appdata validation in the guidelines
[1]:
appstream-util validate-relax --nonet %{buildroot}/%{_datadir}/appdata/*.appdata.xml
This is OK so far and it works... But libappstream-glib (which provides the
appstream-util command) requires gtk3. That's not nice if we package software
based on Qt or any other GUI toolkit. Is there an alternative way to validate
appdata files without pulling in software related to a certain GUI toolkit?
I found already appdata-tools, but that one also depends on libappstream-glib.

Hi all,
currently we have the following paragraph in our guidelines for localized qt4
packages [1]:
"For Qt-based packages that use the Linguist tool chain, for the localisation
utilities add
BuildRequires: qt-devel"
That's OK so far, but there's no matching package for Qt5. The Linguist
toolchain is included in the package qt5-qttools-devel, so that one has to be
added to BR for localized Qt5 packages. Would be nice to see this soon in the
guidelines, because we get more and more Qt5 software in Fedora.
