Hi, It seems that pypi changed the location of downloads [1] This is a bit inconvenient for us, since as far as I know we used to rely on the old url format in Fedora packages. For example, for python-raven I use: Source0: http://pypi.python.org/packages/source/r/raven/raven-%{version}.tar.gz An option would be to use pypi.debian.net, then the line would become: Source0: http://pypi.debian.net/raven/raven-%{version}.tar.gz Not sure if we would want to depend on pypi.debian,net, so we could create pypi.fedoraproject.org for this. Alternatively we could wait and see if the pypi project itself creates a service like this, as mentioned in the linked issue. What are your thoughts? corebird incorrectly removes sqlite-libs when uninstalling

I opened a ticket on this: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1338198 and I have sent a message to klember who just put out the new release on koji yesterday with the same issue. I don't know how long it has been like this, but if someone is unfortunate to uninstall without catching that it is also going to uninstall sqlite-libs (like I was) they are going to have a mess on their hands. Can somebody please intervene and get this fixed?

rpmbuild: question and help about tarball download

Hello I am using a Git URL for specifying the source tarbal of the poco package as below Source0: https://github.com/pocoproject/%{name}/archive/%{gittag0}.tar.gz#/%{name}-%… 1/ no file found rpmbuild/SOURCES/ The command below /usr/bin/rpmbuild -bs --target noarch --nodeps poco.spec fails because it does find the rpmbuild/SOURCES/poco-1.7.3.tar.gz so I am wondering why rpmbuild does not or cannot download the poco-1.7.3.tar.gz itself? 2/ Help on the sources file Where can I found the documentation for specifying a GitHub path for the sources file? Requested EPEL branch...what happens next?

Hi! I'm a co-maintainer for python-pyudev. I requested a branch for EPEL 7 via the fedpkg web interface. Now, I can look at the status of the request I made, which is pending. I can click on a link to a separate page for this request, which tells me the following: """ Update request: 5211 As current admin of the package you have the possibility for 7 days to block a branch request for EPEL branches. During the 7 days following the request, you can 'Block' the new branch process by setting the request to Blocked or 'Approve' it by setting it to Awaiting Review to inform admins that they can now review this request.
