This title as a statement in itself is actually accurate, but *essentially* it is completely misfired.
Of course it is, and I'm aware that it contains a mistake. That can easily happen when you are writing while debugging, editing config files and reading debug instructions mxing both suspend/resume issues at the same time. Once written and sent, it will be archived and can't be directly corrected. Anyway, I was assuming that it's quite obvious what is meant here, and thus I didn't take any further action.
There are enough Fedora's kernels for narrow down the search, prior to bisect. https://kojipkgs.fedoraproject.org/packages/kernel
But it's your call, so good luck with it. ;)

I booted 3.18.5-101.fc20.x86_64
and hibernation still does not work.
But when I was still running f20, it was working just fine with this kernel.
So, it seems that the kernel is not the cause of this problem.

I have not been following this thread closely, so sorry if this has been mentioned already, but I was wondering what you meant when you say that it does not work? If you want to make it "work" ever since F20 (unless you upgraded from F19), we have had to do a lot of monkeying around because Fedora has decided to follow the insipidity of Ubuntu in not enabling hibernation by default.
If you did not upgrade, but rather installed F20/21, this is what you have to do to get it to "work":
sudo vi /etc/sysconfig/grub
add --
resume=UUID="****"
-- to the line GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX= (anywhere, but i do it before the "rhgb quiet" which I also take out)
where the uuid "****" is obtained using
sudo blkid.
then do:
sudo bash -x grub2-mkconfig sudo bash -x grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg
Reboot and this should fix it.
Is this what you have already done? (Thanks to Frank Murphy -- see posts circa 19 Dec 2013 -- for pointing this out. I hope that this has not changed in F20, or F21. Of course, I hope even more that the resume from hibernate is brought back in with F22.)
Best wishes, Ranjan
