Morning all,

Forget this. The problem was that the vpn-up script was constantly trying to start the VPN even though it was already up. The log entries showed each attempt start and then finish.

Which worked before and still does. However, as the /var/log/messages extract shows, there is definitely a problem.

Can anyone suggest what I need to do to fix it.
