Seems to have been a run of this recently, can I remind people there's
no need to re-post their messages, certainly not the URLs?
Thanks,

F-14 as guessed from your X-Mailer header: Evolution 2.32.3 (2.32.3-1.fc14)

All of them work here with F-16 development, x86_64, and
$ rpm -q firefox flash-plugin
firefox-7.0.1-1.fc16.x86_64
flash-plugin-11.0.1.152-release.x86_64
Testing the examples on F-15 and F-14 is something I could do tomorrow.

Any USB-connected parallel port devices in use?
by Geoffrey Leach
My parallel-port printer is connected via a Belikin parallel-port-to-
USB connector. Worked fine in F14, completely broken in F15. Bugzilla
discussion (742398) places the blame on the driver (uss720) for those
converters, and there the problem sits.
I'm curious if there's anyone out there that has a similar setup, and
what your experience might be.

Firefox does not work as expected
by Peter Boy
Hi all,
I'm wondering if I have a tricky misconfiguration of my firefox
installation here.
Example 1:
http://http://www.bialetti.it/uk/catalogue/scheda.asp?id_cat=69#
Below the rightmost image there is a gallery of alternative images. If I
click on one of them, the image does not change as supposed to do (just
the caption).
Example 2:
http://www.ebay.de/itm/SunFire-V40z-4x-AMD-Opteron-885-2-6-GHz-32GB-730GB...
The image of the item (left of the summary and item price) is never
shown, just a rotating circle.
Example 3: Xinha web editor
http://xinha.raimundmeyer.de/x_examples/ext_example.html
In Firefox I only get empty squares in the symbol bar (for bold etc), no
icon is shown.
These are only 3 examples, there are a lot of others.
Epiphany, Arora, Galeon, Chrome, all work fine as well as firefox used
by colleagues of mine using Gentoo and Ubuntu.
I don't think these are common problems with firefox and Fedora. So it
should be due to my configuration. But it's all standard, nothing any
specific done (to my best knowledge).
Any ideas?
Any hint greatly appreciated.

f16 beta: kerberos credentials expired
by Ian Malone
Hi,
F16 beta, whenever I log in, tells me "Network credentials have
expired" or, as the message puts it, "Your Kerberos credentails have
expired." (sic). I didn't know I had any up to this point. Choosing
list tickets in the notification shows I don't have any tickets,
choosing get ticket brings up an error message saying "Kerberos
Authentication Error" and "Couldn't acquire kerberos ticket: Cannot
resolve network address for KDC in realm "EXAMPLE.COM"'."
Does anyone know why this might happen?
Thanks

Yum ate my ICONS
by John Wendel
I just used 'yum remove' to remove Gnome3 from my box, since I'm using
xfce. Seemed to work OK. But now "thundar" doesn't have any icons in its
file display. What do I need to install to get the icons back?
Thanks,
John

How to gain performance?
by Joao Daniel Neves
Hi kids,
I was wondering what more I can do to improve my computer performance.
Look what I have done:
Recompiled the kernel (I have done benchmark tests and it
really makes my computer faster.)
Removed unused daemons from memory (Don't do any test yet)
So, basically my questions are:
I also plan to make my boot faster. Do guys have some suggestion?
What more can I do to improve performace?
Obs.: I'm doing it as hobby. My computer hardware is really good.
