Bonjour,
After last update of f26, the wifi does not start on a laptop.
Have you checked what was in the last update? Look in /var/log for the
latest dnf.rpm.log and check which packages were updated. It is
possible that the wifi driver is incompatible with a new kernel, and
needs a new version. What if you start an older kernel?
2- I tried to load it using modprobe, but the wifi indicator does
not
light up (do I have to reboot the computer? In that case, how do I
force the module b43 to be loaded?)
Were there any errors indicating why it didn't load? journalctl -r to
see the latest errors. There is a force option but I think it is a
very bad idea to use it without knowing why it isn't loading.
This wifi card worked before the update... what changes have been
done?
The first check above should tell you.
