'yum update'
reboot to new kernel.
try again and hopefully it will work. You need to be running the kernel
that you are trying to build against. (at least by default).

I took a look at the Make file and your right,it's asking for some old
kernels,early 2.6s . Well so much for that, it is for compiling a driver
for ralink RT3572 for a Linksys WUSB600N ver. 2 there is no rpm driver
for ver.2 but there is for a ver. 1
