Hello,
I am using devlabel to assign symbolic device names as described in:
http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/enterprise/RHEL-3-Manual/sysadmin-guid...
However, when I remove or add a USB device, I must always run:
devlabel restart (as root)
to force the appropriate changes to occur in /dev.
Shouldn't hotplug be calling devlabel for me? I do have CONFIG_HOTPLUG=y in
my kernel config.
Thanks for any advice.

I noticed this too, in both FC2 and FC3T1. I don't have an FC1 machine
nearby.
RH9 called devlabel extensively in the hotplug agents.
I tried to follow this tip without success:

It looked like a neat solution.
