not able to make xmms

i have fc4 installed on my system. i wanted to install xmms onto it . but when i tried to "make" the file there were some errors due to which i couldnt compile the program. anyone please help me since i'm relatively new to linux sujit

In order to get help fixing the errors, you need to post what the errors actually are. Please post the output of "make". Note also that xmms is available in Fedora Extras (albeit without MP3 support) and can be installed using: # yum install xmms See http://www.fedorafaq.org/#mp3 for how to add MP3 support. You can get it from the livna repository in rpm format for install
