When I bring up FC2, I see "Starting mdmpd: ....failed". What is that all about and how can I get that error out of there. Everything else is so perfect, I just hate to see that 'failure'... -- Ted Gervais Coldbrook, Nova Scotia Canada.

Hey Ted, Essentially it's the software RAID service. If you're not using it you can turn it off with: # chkconfig mdmpd off Or remove the mdadm rpm package altogether with: # rpm -e mdadm Cheers, Sean
