I do have a working xorg.conf from FC6 backed up on disk. How can I
get to a prompt so that I can copy it to this F7 install?
Not sure that is the right idea... after all a lot has changed
underneath a "working xorg.conf" from FC6.". The question is, what is
the Driver line in the "Device" stanza. To get yourself going, try
setting Driver "vesa" in there.
