Another possibility: on boot on fast computers, you hardly see a message
saying: Press any key to boot from the CD.
Try continuously tapping a key during boot sequence, perhaps the problem
will be so solved

you download was correct? The MD5 checksum is correct? How about checking
that the CD really is ok... e.g. read it from Windows.
