To the Fedora community:
I have upgraded one of my machines to F13 in expectation of F12
hitting end of life. For the most part, no problems, but I do see a
question.
Before I send email to GNU gcc, I wanted to make sure I understood
Fedora's plan of action.
The install DVD and yum updates have g++ 4.4.4. GNU's home page is
listing the latest on that minor as 4.4.5. I don't see pdf docs for
4.4.4, only 4.4.5. I wanted to find out if the F13 line was going to
upgrade to 4.4.5 before I started asking GNU gcc folks about where the
archives of old pdf man pages were.
My feeling is that if I use 4.4.5 docs, I should be okay for running
4.4.4, but I couldn't see in the gcc update docs whether I was missing
something or not.
Thanks in advance,
Paul
ps: what g++ is F14 going to have?
Never heard back on this, so I am trying again (though maybe I've been
put on too many kill lists, though I have no idea why)
Is F13 going to kick up to gcc 4.4.5 or not? ... do I need to email some
other list?
Thanks, once again, in advance,
Paul
