Thank you. I was able to get SkypeMate installed but it still doesn't allow my USB telephone to work correctly. I can hear and talk but pressing the numbers on the keypad do nothing. I don't have Skypemate, but I have normal skype on my fedora 8, anyways you don't need skypemate to run skype, but maybe the people from forum.skype.com can help you out.
