Can't updatedb - users - Fedora Mailing-Lists

updatedb is failing for me:

        [root@skyhawk ~]# updatedb
        updatedb: src/updatedb.c:601: scan_cwd: Assertion `name_size > 1' failed.
        Aborted
        [root@skyhawk ~]# 

Tried again with -v and it appears to be choking on:

        /sys/module/nousb/parameters
        updatedb: src/updatedb.c:601: scan_cwd: Assertion `name_size > 1' failed.
        Aborted
        [root@skyhawk ~]# cd /sys/module/nousb/parameters/
        [root@skyhawk parameters]# ll 
        total 0
        ?--------- ? ? ? ?            ? 
        [root@skyhawk parameters]# rm *
        rm: cannot lstat `': No such file or directory
        [root@skyhawk parameters]# 

What can I do about this? FC6, by the way.
