Hi, I would like to be able to verify a CHECKSUM file, of the new beta releases before the actual SHA-256 comparison, but I'm unable to do so this time, because the public key with keyID: 0xD22E77F2 is nowhere to be found on any of the public keyservers. Any idea on where to find this particular key? Bram.

Yes I know, but I want to verify the file from within Windows, so I need to get it from somewhere.

Save it to a FAT partition from your rawhide install ;o) http://www.mirrorservice.org/sites/download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/...

I verified the checksum file of the beta release successfully, with the key you provided, fingerprint: AEE4 0C04 E345 60A7 1F04 3D7C 1DC5 C758 D22E 77F2 . It could be helpful to others if a reference to this key is added to the Beta release notes page. Thank you Bill

There's currently a "Verify your download" link there on the "Get Fedora" page, don't know if that was recently added. It's easier if you already have a Fedora install with the keys, since there's a sort of chain of continuity that gives a little more confidence, although it presumes you weren't tricked in the first place ;o)

I just committed some changes to the fedora-web git repository¹, adding the F11 test key to the keys page and the fedora.gpg file (as well as an individual D22E77F2.txt file). It will go live whenever the changes are pushed to the live servers, I'm not sure how often that happens. The instructions on the verification page will need updated to reflect the change from SHA-1 to SHA-256 as well as the checksum filename change.
