Notice that the package is a CI system for virtual machines, and
therefore it has to deal with older VMs that might have Python 2.
Therefore some of her comments regarding Python 2 shouldn't be
immediately dismissed.
However this is still a helluva package to review so any comment from
a Python expert would be welcome, especially around shebangs, and the
whole business of compiling C/C++ code at runtime.
